Louise Story shared this recommendation for Rajiv on May 25, 2021 via LinkedIn:
Rajiv is respected and adored by all who know him. He is an excellent colleague in that he pushes for the success of his peers as much as his own success. Collaboration is constant with him, and he pushes his teams, his bosses and his colleagues always to do better and to do what’s right. At the NYT and at the WSJ - both places I worked with him - he left all things he worked on better off and all his colleagues inspired.
Louise worked with Rajiv at both The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. At the Times, she spent 11+ years as a prize-winning investigative journalist and Chief News Strategist, co-authoring the landmark Innovation Report that shaped the company’s digital transformation. Her reporting on the 2008 financial crisis led to changes in NYC real estate regulations and a record-setting DOJ kleptocracy case. At the WSJ, she served as Chief News Strategist and Chief Product & Technology Officer — one of the top five masthead editors — overseeing digital transformation, product engineering, design, and product management. Louise is the author of Fifteen Cents on the Dollar: How Americans Made the Black-White Wealth Gap (HarperCollins). She holds a BA in American Studies and an MBA from Yale and a Master’s in Journalism from Columbia. She is now CEO, President, Publisher & Board Member at Atlas Obscura.
